We are seeking a highly motivated young scientist with profound experience on greenhouse gas (GHG) flux measurements from terrestrial ecosystems by using eddy covariance (EC) techniques. The successful candidate will have access to the Skogaryd Research Catchment (www.gu.se/en/earth-sciences/skogaryd-research-catchment-0), which has several eddy covariance systems for greenhouse gas (GHG) flux measurements. The candidate should contribute to the aims for the infrastructure, which is to conduct and develop quantification of GHG balances at the landscape scale including land-atmosphere, land-water, and water-atmosphere exchange, as well as to elucidate the underlying biogeochemical processes.
Teaching duties cover Bachelor and Master courses in Earth Sciences, Geography and Environmental Sciences.
The post of associate senior lecturer is a career-development position, fixed term of 6 years with possibility of promotion to a permanent post as senior lecturer.
